Vietnam’s tourism ready to welcome foreign visitors back from 15.03.2022

After nearly two years of closure, Vietnam has decided to reopen the country’s borders to international travel on March 15, 2022.Vietna The local Authority also agreed to resume its visa exemption policy for 13 countries for up to 15 days regardless of the purpose of entry, valid 3 years till 15/03/2025. This applies to citizens of Belarus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and the UK. 

Regarding to requirement for international visitors to Vietnam:
 
–    Foreigners entering Vietnam only need to furnish a negative Covid-19 test certified by the competent authority of the country where the test is performed. The test must have been done using the RT-PCR method within 72 hours before departure or the rapid antigen methods within 24 hours. Children under two years are exempt from testing.
 
–    Make a health declaration before entry and install/use the Vietnam health declaration application (PC-COVID), implement measures to prevent and control the pandemic as prescribed during the stay in Vietnam.
 
–    Having medical or travel insurance that covers COVID-19 treatment with a minimum liability of USD10, 000.
